Chief Brandon Promotes Two Officers to Sergeant, Corporal

On Friday, September 6th, Chief Brandon promoted two officers to the ranks of sergeant and corporal.

Detective Delaney Green has been with the Southlake Police Department for over six years.  After leaving patrol, she was assigned to CID (Criminal Investigations Division) for the last three years.  Corporal Green graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and later received her MBA from UNT in 2018.  Her new corporal badge was pinned by her husband.  Corporal Green will remain in CID as their Corporal.

Corporal Preston Logan was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  He has been with Southlake for over seven years and worked in patrol his entire career, as an officer and a corporal.  Sergeant Logan graduated from Tarleton University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and is currently working on his MPA, also at Tarleton.  His new sergeant badge was pinned by his wife with his children watching.  Sergeant Logan will be assigned to the night patrol shift.

“Both of these officers do an extraordinary job on a daily basis and I look forward to watching them help lead the department in the future,” Chief Brandon said.

Please join us in congratulating Corporal Green and Sergeant Logan.
