Fall Family Events in Southlake

Looking for something fun to do with your family this fall? We’ve got several great events coming up around town to help you celebrate Halloween and all the things we love about autumn!


Haunted Family Camp-out
Saturday, October 5, 4 p.m. until Sunday, October 6, 9 a.m.
at Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve
Cost: $10 for residents / $13 for non-residents
Ghosts, goblins and goodies are lurking in the woods of the Bob Jones Nature Center for this spooky twist on our fall family campout! In addition, to all of the usual camping activities, this campout will feature a haunted trail, prizes for the spookiest campsite and Halloween-themed fun for campers of all-ages.

Hoot-n-Howl
Saturday, October 26, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
at Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve
Cost: Free
It’s the season of fall festivals and we’re hosting one at our favorite place to go outdoors–Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve. Come and enjoy fall foods, storytelling on the nature trail, music and more! Fun for all ages!


Trunk or Treat
Wednesday, October 30, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
at Southlake Police Headquarters – 600 State Street
Cost: Free
Bring the kiddos out in their Halloween costumes to score some candy at our Trunk or Treat event. Sponsored by 25 local businesses and hosted by Southlake Police & Fire. Other kids activities include a bounce house and crafts. Fun for the whole family!
